I can't even argue that it was unexpected or what not. As I pointed out in the preview, If we take them for granted we could get done like this.

Congratulations to Brighton, they kept at it and Pascal Gross scored a soft goal to get them, well deserved Premier League survival. Chris Hughton has done such a good job with them, to get to 40 points in your first Premier League season is no easy feat.

Talking about us, 

Rashford, Martial and Mata didn't work together, for all that excitement before the game, it came to nothing. But we can't blame them. We've got to put our eyes on the slow midfield. Pogba has an off game, again! (He needs to sort his consistency), Why was Fellaini picked to start? (Jose is trying to get him to sign a new contract, It should never have come to this!) 

Matic was fine as usual, Cleared his lines well. But we needed some finesse in midfield, It was like playing with 10 men, Pogba doing absolutely nothing on the ball.

A bully like Lukaku might have helped, but their should be no excuses for a defeat to Brighton.

I'm happy to see Rojo back but Lindelof started to have some coordination with Smalling, I wonder why didn't he start. We can't keep changing CB pairings and with Darmian at Right Back, It was just the icing on the cake.

I've got nothing to say regarding Martial now, He had a couple of openings.. Didn't do much with them. Jose's got all the judging to do here and I'm sure this game puts an end to the Martial Saga. 

Jose will push him out on the back of this.

Substitutes Shaw and McTominay didn't affect the game much (Those were negative subs imo)

Lingard did have chances at the end but it wasn't to be.

I just hope Mata doesn't get ousted by Mourinho.

Stop Begging For Fellaini

It just goes to show how crucial Lukaku is.

This game meant very little for us, But still with that FA Cup Final on the horizon, we must have some momentum!

Need to get back on our feet against West Ham midweek.
